Here is how I added Pi-hole to my OpenPlotter to block ads on my entire network!  This speeds up browsing, and reduces bandwidth by blocking ads at the DNS level, before the request ever leaves your network!

Thanks for this! I have this type of thing set up on my home router and am happy to see it can work alongside openplotter.

I opened the link to your website. After a few seconds I recognized that my graphic card fans
started working. I checked the task manager and the chrome browser used 75 % CPU load.

CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS?

As jim321 linked, this site does not run ads, but uses CoinImp instead.  You can click the large red 'OPT OUT' button on the right side of the page to turn off this feature. 

Along with ads, Pi-Hole blocks this type of content monetization as well.
