Can someone tell where I can get Magnetic Variation data in real time?
I don't seem to have a device generating NMEA HDG and although I know that it is part of the NMEA RMC sentence, my GPS dongle isn't sending it.
I've tried the Variation Calculator Tool in OP but dont see any evidence of it working despite inputting a valid RMC sentence to KPLEX
Is that module working ?
I suppose I could use OP's NMEA generator to generate a HDG sentence based on my known Variation of 5 Degrees East but I wondered if this data would normally be part of downloadable data such as from GPS
(Edit - cant find HDG in the list of sentences I can generate in OP, so maybe thats a non-starter)
