Hi,

Just trying to get my head around setting up the following on a Raspberry Pi.

High Power USB WiFi Dongle
Connect to Marina WiFi.
Messages to Telegram/Grib downloads etc.

Internal Wifi/Small USB WiFi Dongle.
Allows crew to connect to Pi
Shares the IP connection created by the other dongle
SignalK to crew phones/tablets etc.

Any ideas would be great.

(Internal Wifi) OP 2.0 Select AP xxxxxxxxxxx on board. That's all.

(High Power USB WiFi Dongle) What type of dongle is it? Is it Linux compatible?
I bought this instead to use as the Boat router and can connect it to the marina WiFi or use my phone plugged into the USB port as an access point. I also connect the smart TV on board using an Ethernet port. It is 12v so it wires into the 12 V system directly

GL.iNet GL-AR750 Travel AC... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07712LKJM?ref...b_ap_share
use the Ethernet port and share on op's wifi, that's how i use my linksys
I think you just need WiFi access point
to extend your WiFi range to marinas.

Try something like this

VONETS AC1200 Mini Wireless Bridge Repeater Wi-Fi Dual Band Bridge Range Extender (VAP11AC) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KP6XZ16/ref...5DbSP03YH4
