all data coming thru except humidity.

i hooked up a float switch to gpio 18 and a voltage sensor to spi mcp3008 to test all seem to be working

antenna cable and handheld VHF antenna.

i ran into a problem with the mcp 3008  i need to pull the screw shield and check again with the multimeter.. SK is showing data but it should be 0 ..
i have four pins that i am testing with  1,4,5,7  pin 7 is the only one with data going to it "battery voltage sensor"and its wrong. when it is passed to the function in nodered to do the math to volts it shows 18v multimeter says 12.1v at the battery. when i checked the pins and ground there is a voltage of up to 2+ volts there should be 0 it's input not output.

i pulled the board tested all my connections several times everything is as it should be no shorts or grounding, the pins all connected to the correct places.???????

i dont understand the value setting in the SPI tab..??? maybe that's where the problem is..i cant seem to zero out raw data, it gives false data even with nothing going to it..
i had it working perfect with an arduino on the usb & firmata..
so if i want to go forward i guess ill go back to arduino analog for now...

i have taken down my reef aquarium it had a led dimming sys on it "sunrise sunset " i am going to use the driver board it has 4 meanwell ldd drivers for light's on the spreader bar, cockpit, and cabin it uses an pca9685 for pwm, and i found a node to control it with a slider from the dashboard. it also freed up another esp8266 nodemcu board for use elsewhere Smile
out of space for photo's only 10 allowed per post.

that's it for now i will edit this post as i get more built..
Thanks for sharing!!!! I love these threads please keep posting!
where did you buy that screw terminals board?
Hello, Is it possible to use an aluminum box?

Or better to use plastic box.

Saludos
yes you can just be careful not to ground out short circuit anything . i have a plastic junction box i am going to use i feel it is safer .
