Update OpenCPN plugins - SkipperEarly - 2019-01-23

op 1.2.0 alfa
used the update function for plugins but notice that latest logbook_pi version on rpi does not match latest version on official ocpn download site.
tried also with command sudo apt-get update but does not update eighter.

Any advise what to try next?

After a reinstall I was back to an older logbook plugin, just downloaded  this file >
https://github.com/boatybits/RasPi-various-files/blob/master/liblogbookkonni_pi.so
and moved it to /usr/lib/opencpn/liblogbookkonni_pi.so after backing u the original. Seems to work OK. Compiled on a RPi3 (not B+)

Sailoog is right, openplotter has no control over updating the rpi opencpn repository. Sometimes takes a while for the latest versions to appear. Not sure how it works. If the file in the link above doesn't work then you'll need to compile on your own machine as I did .
