usb hub to use with the dvb-t dongle - MonsieurTranquile - 08-18-2017

Hi all,

the openplotter site states you must use a self powered usb hub to power the dvb-t receiver.  All I can find around are 120 volt powered usb hub.

I purchased one but when hooked up the tab on open plotter about ais stays blank and I get the colored square in the corner.  So I feel it is not able to output enough juice to make it work.

would this work for a hub: https://www.amazon.ca/MakerSpot-Stackable-Raspberry-Connector-Bluetooth/dp/B01IT1TLFQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1503057094&sr=8-1&keywords=raspberry+usb+hub

if not any suggestion, a hub that works on 5 or 12 volt?

many thanks,

Samuel
