Thanks Jason.
It was one of your threads on Apres Sail that got me interested in the Raspberry Pi.
I did find that thread you linked to and down loaded the Open Plotter 4 Starting file (I had previously down loaded Open Plotter 3 file) but I don't know how to open the files, can you help?
Thanks again, Dave

Dave,
Thanks for watching my content, hopefully you are a subscriber!!
so I think you are asking what you do next once you have downloaded the OP4 Starting file?
Well, the file is a disk image, so you need to 'burn' it onto an SD card, the easiest way (I find) is to use the Raspberry Pi Imager using the process laid out in the Raspberrry Pi documentation:
https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentatio...arted.html
when you get to the "Choose OS" Stage, scroll to the bottom where it says "Use Custom" and then pick it and navigate to your OP 4 Starting Image. after that, select your media (your SD card) and then say no to the OS customization. after that the imager will image the card and then run it.
make sure you have the latest version of imager as the latest lets you select Raspberry Pi 5 as your device, old versions don't
hope this helps!!
Thanks Jason,
That sounds exactly what I need to know will give it a go tomorrow and let you know how I get on.
Really appreciate your help, Dave.
