Fun, but why would this be more important than getting a new version out the door, as the people interested in it can install it themselves?

I agree this feature is certainly less important that supporting new hardware and raspbian !
But is any idea other han "the new version" to be condemned, rejected and burned in the flames of hell ?
I think it is of real interest, even for those who are not familiar with, or interested in, node JS...
After all, why do we make Openplotter, anybody can install OCPN on Duster, isn't it ? (well, when the duster bugs will be corrected...)
Also it would bring another brick to OP versatility, making it a more complete, quieter and even cooler solution !
