You might try looking that hub up on the RPI hardware list and see if it has been tested.

Yes the Plugable hubs seems good. A bit hard to get here in Sweden, though. A managed to find a DLink DUB-H4 for direct delivery so I hope that it will work the way I want.
The Delock I tested yesterday is not on the compatability list.
