It took time to reset one by one all the options, but it seems the issue is partlyly SOLVED,
with the exception of the opening of the OPTION windows which remains randomly reluctant . .
Anyway the issue of the crash at openCPN launch seems definitely gone.
o-charts of course ! (but still a couple of month before re-launch !). Aniway I'll keep my backup with OC5.6, but I keep going with OC 5.8

If there is no plugins in the list means that they have not been compiled for that Debian/architecture/opencpn combination yet.
If you are running OpenPlotter 2 I guess you have Debian 10 buster 32bit and OpenCPN installed from PPA, am I right? what plugin do you miss?
