Another wifi dongle can be really handy onboard, openplotter can act as a wifi repeater so you can get a good usb wifi dongle/antenna and use this to pick up weak networks and rebroadcast  round the boat, or if using a mobile phone for web access it's handy to get at node-red & nmea data without having to log onto the openplotter network, just log onto the mobile network with openplotter  get the IP address from the wifi OP tab.
