Hi jim321,
please apologize my late response to your post.
I was in Kalinigrad and had difficulties with the mobile internet.
Now we are in Poland and internet works again.

Your "how to do" is excellent, I could follow it step by step.
Thank you very much.

But regrettably I can not make OpenCPN use/ understand these AIS-data.
What must I check/ configure in OpenCPN, that it incorporates the AIS-data and shows it on the map
and makes it possible to use the AIS alarm-system.

Do you know how to fix this problem?

Thank you again
Karl

Hi everyone,

Firstly, I apologize if my level is too low for this forum. I am a beginner...

I have bought the Noolec NESDR smart v4 and I am trying to configure it on my raspberry 4B 4gb and openplotter v2, opencpn 5

I followed all the supplier instructions.... until the: rtl_test (and apparently works)

But what is the next step? I meant... initially is installed but I don’t know how to use it, and how to proceed with opencpn?

Thanks in advance for your patience.... Pinguino helped me a lot in another forums.

Cheers,
