[CLOSED] V1 and OpenCPN s63 plugin bug
#1
It seems that the new Raspbian 9 version activates the bug, which prevents the fingerprint creation in s63 charts. Which, I suppose, is needed for moving the charts into a new system. The issue has been reported in s63 plugin's site (https://github.com/bdbcat/s63_pi/issues/17) for some time ago, but there seems to be no cure yet.

If you want to use your S63 charts on a new system you have to request a new installpermit on o-charts.org and you are right, you need to create a new fingerprint on your target system. Have you compiled the plug-in?
I need you to write to info-at-o-charts.org to track this case from there, I work there too Smile

No, I have not tried to recompile the plugin it since from the issue report I thought the problem is not resolved. Basically I just tried to create the fingerprint file, and it gave the same error between the libraries as mentioned in the compilation issue. By the way, the new version looks great as well as the new Montessier hat.
