Hi Max,
for what you use this line:
dtoverlay=i2c-gpio,i2c_gpio_sda=2,i2c_gpio_scl=3,bus=3
all other seems fine to me

@Sailoog:
The Moittesier Hat Can/SPI isn´t configurated in the config.txt . How do you do the configuration of the SPI?

Code:
dtoverlay=i2c-gpio,i2c_gpio_sda=2,i2c_gpio_scl=3,bus=3

this is added by Moitessier HAT driver to be able to update the firmware.
SPI is managed by the driver too. You have just to enable it in config.txt: dtparam=spi=on
Rooco guys will answer questions about the drivers better than me.

Yes, that is the expected result.

We have added a packages source for Xygrib. That source will always build the latest version. The built version in Debian is an old one. We have set preferences to install always the latest version no matters the source.

"Signal K installer" has big changes because we have had to create a GUI for some settings. We no longer use the "signalk-server-setup" script from SK because we need this to be compatible with raspbian and other debian derivatives and we had problems running that script with pkexec instead of  sudo blablabla. I have just published v2.0.6 because there was a bug in v2.0.5 and SK server was reinstalled and reconfigured to defaults when updating. Now is working, tested in raspbian and ubuntu.
OK, then I know, thanks. Can't be that easy to handle all variants /Mats

I do not seem to find the way to stop the display to go blank after a while of inactivity (OpenPlotter v2 beta on RPi 3, from NOOBS dated 2019-11-15).
The only function I found (OpenPlotter Settings -> Raspberry Settinsgs -> Disable Screensaver) has no effect.

There are several ways to switch off the screen saver.

I found the easiest way to install the xscreensaver. Then you can set the screensaver options and you can switch screen saving to off. Installing a screensaver to switch it off !

Connecting the Kindle E reader to the OpenPlotter Rpi. Trying to make a wifi connection fails. RPI is seen with a good signal. Adding the password and connect, it fails. I'am sure I have used the right password.

This problem is only from the Kindle To the OpenPlotter RPI.

Using the same Kindle I can connect to the network with a wireless switch and then to the Ip of the RPI. What is the cause of this problem ?

Bram

Is it missing a DHCP server not getting an Ip address from the RPI ?

ops, it seems that that "OpenPlotter Settings -> Raspberry Settinsgs -> Disable Screensaver" no longer works. This settings are changing time to time in raspbian. I will try to fix this without installing extra software.
