Gps/ais signal dropout
#1
I have a pi3+ running opencpn 5.0 and a vesper xb8000 ais. Last season system was rock solid. This year op is losing the GPS signal intermittently. The issue seems to be highly correlated with the use of a new electric head. Engage head pump motor, GPS is lost. Disconnect happens at kplex. And not a single flicker on the screen.. Just loss of GPS signal

Pi is powered by a DC to DC converter.. Vesper is powered from 12v...reboot of op provides short term solution.

Software solutions?

Hardware /power supply solutions?

Thanks in advance
John
