Greetings from Boot 2020
#1
Hi there,

here are some impressions from our booth at hall 10H11!

As some of you already know, a few months ago we started a fundraiser in the sailing forum to finance a booth at the fair
"Boot 2020" in Dusseldorf/Germany.

We show some of our projects around free software and free hardware. We come from different cities in Germany and
only got to know each other personally at the fair. Our stand therefore looks a little unconventional.  Big Grin

But maybe that's why we get so much positive feedback and the visitors are excited!

This is what we show:

- DIY chart plotter
- DIY windvane
- DIY nmea 2k interfaces
- OpenPlotter, OpenCPN, Signal K, Node red
- DIY camera
- Displays based on M5 stack
- Seatalk remote control
- use of house automation devices on board
- Android based car radio for navigation and control
- Raspberry based marine control server

In the last few days we have met a lot of people and had a lot of nice conversations. We have made
important contacts and now we have further ideas.

One day left and we would be happy to welcome some of you!

All the best,
Chris
