AvNav implementation in OP2
#91
In AvNav you can configure your own MMSI (the one to be ignored). Goto the status/server page, klick edit at Config and set your MMSI there.
Not sure which version you have and how the data flow for AIS data is set up. If you use the new set up an let AvNav directly fetch data from SignalK (without sending the NMEA data to AvNav) - and you have at least 20220421 AvNav should automatically pick up your configured MMSI from SK.
But setting it in AvNav (Config) works for all flows.

Hi

Firstly many thanks. I've been using Avnav as my primary solution on board for approx 1 week and its worked brilliantly. 2 large ipads under spray hood - One displaying charts the other displaying data.  I've had a 3rd roaming ipad mini remotely controlling the first two.. Awesome!

I'm sat here on a mooring buoy listening to the VHF and the amazing coast guard issuing a PAN PAN.  What I want to do is to be able to type into avnav a GPS location of the vessel in distress and add a mark.  I know how to graphically add waypoints but I have not yet discovered the way to manually type in a GPS location, is this possible?

Many thanks
Peter

Hmm, not out of the box.
But what you could do:
Set a waypoint to the current center, afterwards click on the lower left widgets that brings up the waypoint buttons, click edit an input the position.
There is already an issue for that:
https://github.com/wellenvogel/avnav/issues/136
Running out of space for new buttons on the nav page :-(...
