PNG to KAP for use with OpenCPN
#1
Hi,

Is there a way using the Pi to add a PNG chart file and for it to generate a .KAP file for use with OpenCPN?

If not then this would be a awesome feature :-)

Just got my setup configured ready to take down to the boat, with one of the new Pi.Org 7" touchscreens....  Very impressed so far, and really looking forward to hooking it up to the boats nav system.....

Would be great if I could get my PNG version of the UK SW waters into Open CPN to have something looking good as an AIS receiver....

Kind regards

Jason
