Link OP with my Fuel Sender script ?
#1
Hi
In order to replace my defunct fuel gauge, I have put together a Python script which uses an MCP3208 ADC to measure voltage from my restive fuel sender and display the results on an Adafruit LED Bar module.
My Python script seems to work fine and operates nicely alongside OP and OCPN.

What Id like to do is have a fuel low trigger from my script drive an OP Action ie I want it to set off an OP alarm action.
Is there a simple way of linking my script with OP without digging into the OP script itself ?

BTW Be gentle ... I am a Python novice and I'm still working with OP 0.8.
An on-screen fuel gauge would be nice but I cant get my head around OP0.9 and NodeRed yet

Thanks
Steve
