Email attach file?
#1
Hi, would it be possible to add an "attach file" option to the send email action? Thinking is that you could write a python/bash script to write/update various sensor data, pi diagnostics etc to a set file then run that script in a cron tab and get openplotter to email it at set intervals.
Or could a twitter action take as text to tweak the return from a bash script maybe?

Just a thought, thanks.

Good idea!

Mailing the sensor data as a .csv file would be great.

If it is an easy fix to allow a file attachment to an email then it might quickly open the door a little bit for 3rd parties to write scripts for any kind of data logging, send to the many IoT sites around now or maybe even google maps as a track?
