Nmea
#1
Hello,
My setup is a Signalk server installed on a raspberry with GPS and IMU connected on the USB port.
It's working well and I can monitor my sensor with KIP plugin.
On a different  device I have Qtvlm, it receive the Gps location via Nmea on port 10110.

When I make Goto on Qtvlm I would like to get data (distance and bearing of my destination) on my signalk server , so I open an Nmea output port on Qtvlm and create a Nmea connection on signalk.
It's not working because Qtvlm send back the Gps location to the server , make a infinite loop and  the sever get stuck.

How can we do avoid this problem?

Best regards

Vincent

In the manual - https://download.meltemus.com/qtvlm/qtVl...ion_en.pdf - it says.."NMEA filtering
You can setup filters for both incoming and outgoing NMEA message". Page 151. Try filtering outgoing RMC & GGA sentences.
