Thank you so much for your help, i finally got it working

So all you had to do is to edit 2 lines?
One in config.txt and one in blacklist_serial_ports?

The config.txt file was like this originally

#dtoverlay=disable-bt
enable_uart=1

All i had to do was remove # from it to

dtoverlay=disable-bt
enable_uart=1

And then the one line in blacklist_serial_ports
