Trouble Connecting to VNC Server on OpenPlotter
#1
Hello everyone,

After deploying OpenPlotter, I encountered an issue where I could only establish a VNC connection using a RealVNC Viewer client. Common viewers like TightVNC, Remmina, and Vinagre on Ubuntu were not successful.

Has anyone found a solution to this issue?

Reminna returns "unknown authentication scheme". I noticed that the VNC server is set up to authenticate via Unix authentication.

I've seen some suggestions to remove the default VNC server (which appears to be RealVNC server) and replace it with another one. Is this the recommended approach?

I just use the realvnc viewer on win laptop & android tablet. Works out of the box. To view over the web you need a realvnc account & password
