pip and pipenv
#1
I have always struggled with Python environments, so it comes as no surprise that I am struggling again.

I usually like to use pipenv, though that can be an issue on Pi OS in general, I have found. When using Openplotter 4 (Pi5 with MacArthur hat), when I try to use pip, I get an admonition that "this environment is externally managed." Before I go any further and potentially create a mess, are there any issues I should be aware of before I start installing external packages in a virtual environment?
