How do I get support on OpenCPN
#1
The preferences of the "Status Bar" plugin cannot be neither set nor saved since the upgrade to OCPN 4.8, I checked that both in the version installed with OpenPlotter and in another version on my netbook (Lubuntu 1404 LTS). I tried without success to connect to opencpn.org, overloaded, time-out. Could someone tell me how to report the bug and get support ?

Don't think you can, the plug in is old and looks like it isn't officially supported any more .

From the next post in the thread you linked ...

I think it's a windows only problem? I will attempt a workaround...

Ah, dunno how I missed that. Anyway, looks like it hasn't been touched for a long time.

I gave up on it a while ago, I actually find the dashboard more useful. If only it could read Signalk...

Thanks for ths link to the proper thread in cruisersforum ! At least I could read it, and see the issue is with CP 4.8.

The problem I have with this forum (CF) is that my browser (Firefox) report a mis-redirection when I try to post anything.
I tried to use their 'contact us function', but have not get any answer yet... Let's be patient ....

Edit 1/1216h15 CET : The blocus in FireFox was due to an extension ('https everywhere' - uninstalled).
