I think kindle it could be an excellent way to display info in the cockpit....

I believe the third party browser you are trying may not be necessary. 

I aim to do this as well. Not interested in the round gauges, but a grid of high visibility digits. 

I'd like to emulate one of those tactical racing compasses.
