Open CPN will not start
#1
Hello,

new user to the forum.
 Pi3
Openplotter 0.8.0beta

Most seems to be working fine, until I start OpenCPN. It will give me the opencpn window (all black), I see the cursor turning, and then opencpn shuts down and I am back on my desktop.

I have openplotter running with all the upgrade instructions on sailoog.com
OpenCPN did work. the last thing I remember before it stopped working was adding maps.

It is not possible for me to send a debuglog since ddd and gdb are not working on openplotter.

Pls help and advise.

Reg,
Flip

What type of maps?

Have you enabled opengl on raspbian or on opencpn?
Try typing: opencpn -no_opengl

Try deleting the folder /home/pi/.opencpn This will back opencpn to the default state.
