These look pretty nifty devices - anyone used one with a Pi and openplotter?

I just set up KWEB on the Pi, as it's on all the time seems sensible to have openplotter running the music as well, kweb is so much lighter than any other browser I've tried, chromium is pretty useless if hogs so much resources. OMXplayer seems light as well.

I use it at home with volumio2:

Ta, kweb has a gui for omxplayer so might stick with that for now, though not quite itunes Smile

Gone and ordered a HiFiBerry Amp2 so fingers crossed. It powers the Pi from 12 - 18v so at least one less power supply to deal with.

Had podcasts and music all afternoon from the Pi through existing class d amp and speakers, great have all the control on laptop or tablet. Should have done it ages ago  Cool
That hifiberry board's great!! Sounds fantastic through the existing car speakers. Very pleased, will measure the power draw at some point but specs are low and it has builtin regulator so powers the Pi from boat 12v. Installed VLC for music playback and it works well with kweb running streaming net stations. With a tablet and VNC don't even need to get out of bed to put on some music in the morning now  Cool Cool
I use OP with Logitech Media Server and Squeezelite as a player and a USB DAC. It works fine. I like the web-based interface of LMS. There are some apps available for phones and tablets, but I keep going back to the web interface.
I have tried this hifiberry. It is really amazing. However, I have also tried OMXplayer once, that was also good.
Could that be a robot?
Just installed clementine, works great as a media player ! Syncs up with gpodder podcast manager and has an android control app so easy to control the Pi music from a tablet. Very happy now Smile
