Hello, everybody,
I installed the AIS reporter in SignalK.
In MarineTraffic a boat called "seabreeze" appears as a sailboat.
Anybody have any idea where I can change this data?
The settings under "Vessel Data" do not result in any changes.
Greetings Jürgen
does it get its info from the Vessel mmsi.? you may need to update that?

I don't think so,
If you are looking for a ship with the MMSI 123456789 at MarineTraffic, you will "unfortunately" receive many answers.
i dont think thats a real mmsi #123456789
i do think you need to register one for the Vessel AIS.

You were right. The MMSI is taken over.

Unfortunately not the static data. (width and length)

Can I anywhere change the type of boat, call sign,... change?
The ship name and the MMSI is taken from the information in the server.

Unfortunately no further data.

According to Teppo Kurki the information comes from the SK input.

Unfortunately there is no input possibility in the GUI for caalsignt, flag, ship type,.....

Anybody have an idea?

Greetings Jürgen
You can define this manually in /home/pi/.signalk/defaults.json

Here all the defined keys:

Hello,

is it right, that the SignalK plugin AISReporter send my vessel data to the platform marine traffic?

I installed the plugin, configure my data but I don't have IP and port to fill in.

Do I need a membership by Marine Traffic?

Please tell me the data I need .

Thank's in forward

Regards Norman from Berlin, Germany
Hello,

You get an IP and a port from MarineTraffic when you register a station.

The data is then transferred from the SK server.

It could be that once made data of MarineTraffic can be stored under the MMSI and then can only be changed by those. But I'm not sure.

More tests in the next few days.

As soon as we know, I'll write it here.

Greetings Jürgen
