Is there a indication on the IMU chip (MPU) as to which way is north? Last time I tried it the magnetic heading was 200' out.

i think that should happen when you calibrate "boat is level" ..
i noticed that i needed an offset with my new sys .never needed it before v1.0
sean said he has some update's on calibration that hasn't made it to openplotter yet..

Yes but after updating to 1.1.0, the IMU did not work anymore, so I switched back to 1.0.0.
