I've been playing with Open Plotter for a few days now and absolutely love it. To date, I have been using Navionics and I intend to keep using that for navigation but I would like to use OpenCPN with OpenPlotter as well. The problem is: I can't find any charts for UK / Mediterranean (the two areas I sail in). I don't mind they are out of date as Navionics will remain my main source and I have paper charts as well.

I spend some time searching for the answer to this and the only answer I can find so for is No except for the INMAR charts which are quite expensive.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you - I did not find that site when I was searching. The area in the Mediteranian I normally sail in is Greece and that doesn't seem to be included but I will search further unless you have another idea.

For Greece the best material we have found is the well know raster charts from Imray: https://o-charts.org/shop/en/14-oernc

oeSENC are vector and oeRNC are raster. You also have the S63 option but more expensive.

o-charts charts are OpenPlotter certified (I am part of o-charts developers team Smile )

Thanks! Can you clarify if these charts are a one-off download or if they are updated on a regular basis?

Ciao, they are updated on a regular!  Smile
oeSENC are regular: https://manuals.o-charts.org/oesenc_en_US.html

oeRNC are regular or undetermined but only if changes are published by licensors: https://manuals.o-charts.org/oernc_en_US.html

Thank you all! I got it working with the CM93 charts and when my setup is completed, buy the greek raster charts.
.... and for paper backup the best charts/pilotmaps are from Nicolas Elias - https://eagleray.gr/ - a bit pricey but great presentation of information in a concise form and worth the money. Would greatly welcome them to become also published under o-charts !
