I'm trying to install tinypilot_2021_11_16.img.xz on a Raspberry Pi Zero W. I have a pypilot motor controller and a pypilot hat on it and end up with more or less the same error. If not a black screen then with "Invalid module format". On my Nokia display it says the compas headding , standby, a big C and blink after WIFI. Same problem with older version.
