I noticed that the physical switch is reversed. When the switch is ON (continuity between the 2 pins) Maiana app shows "Hardware TX Switch: OFF", and when the switch is off "Hardware TX Switch: ON".
I'm not sure if this is by design. If it is i don't understand why, but it feels weird to have the switch off in order to get transmission on :S

That is by design of the MAIANA device. Inputs and outputs of the MAIANA device are open drain. From MAIANA manual:
"If you want a hardware switch for “silent
mode”, you need to remember that
transmission is disabled if the TX_OFF
signal is driven to a logic “high” (above
2V)"
Open drain connections have some advantages that someone with more knowledge than me can surely explain better
PD. Veig que estàs utilitzant una IMU sense els separadors. Aquests separadors costen una mica de trobar, vols que t'enviï un joc de separador, cargol i rosca?
Noted! I will just label it "Silent AIS" or something like that so I don't forget

(I edited the thread title so it doesn't contain "BUG:")
PD: No pateixis, he trobat uns de un altre HAT que som 1-2mm més grans del que haurien de ser, però ja fan la feina. Gracies de tota manera!

Alternatively, you can look for a SPDT (single-pole double-throw) switch. These have three terminals, so you can choose which switch position opens or closes the circuit.
