I decided not to use a case, but instead am mounting it in a cabinet that used to enclose the old instruments. The cabinet has a door, which should keep the worst of the nasties out. With a BerryGPSIMU on top, and MacArthur hat, and the RPi itself, there were just too many holes to be aligned.
But I needed a baseplate. I made one that has M5 holes for mounting inside the cabinet, with a bracket for the GPS antenna, and a support bracket for the HDMI micro to full size adapter. I've seen too many surface-mount sockets get twisted right off the PCB, so I wanted it to be fixed tight.
You want? I'll put it up on Thangs.

I use cheap plastic chopping boards from the local supermarket cut up often as base plates. Easy to work with & non conductive. Any pics? Always something to learn
