Brookhouse MUX - Halo - 2016-05-17 Hello, Want to run OP on RPi 3; use a Brookhouse USB Seatalk MUX for all NMEA 0183 and ST devices. The MUX has a USB, RS422 and RS323 output. My intention is to connect the USB output to the RPi 3. But, as far as I know has the MUX a USB driver only for Windows. So, how to solve this "problem"? RE: Brookhouse MUX - Sailoog - 2016-05-17 Have you already connected? what the USB manager says? No, the MUX is not yet connected because I just received the RPi 3 and still have to order OP. But thinking in advance I realised there might be a problem with the Usb driver. So first of all I'll buy the OP SD. In the meantime I can connect my Laptop (running Linux Mint) to the MUX and see what's happening. I now see I made a mistake in my first mail RS323 must be RS232. Compliments to all of you for the great OP programm. RE: Brookhouse MUX - Sailoog - 2016-05-17 Good news, I downloaded the windows file from their site and it's the prolific driver which is in the linux kernel. Test it on your Linux Mint, I am quite sure it will work out of the box.
