This isn't an error. If pypilot should work it does need this connection. But if you change to IMU only the pypilot connection is disabled that's the difference.
Kplex is special. We don't know if you send something to kplex or not. It could be only one device which is most of the time offline and you will get many retrys. In this situation it is better to restart kplex every 12 hours by a cron job. (http://forum.openmarine.net/showthread.php?tid=1216)
