[SOLVED] OpenPlotter RPI v0.8.0 NOOBS - snowboarder - 2016-07-05 When i connect a usb stick to raspberry pi i get a error in the file manager " The specified directory '/media/pi/ESD-USB'is not valid" and when i press SETTINGSĀ dir in file manager i also get " The specified directory '/media/pi/SETTINGS'is not valid" this is with the new openplotter noobs v8.0 version RE: OpenPlotter RPI v0.8.0 NOOBS - Sailoog - 2016-07-05 Yes, I know, there is a problem with permissions. If you open the file browser as root (sudo pcmanfm) you can access to mounted USB devices. I have removed links and files of this first NOOBS version and I am working on it to solve, sorry RE: OpenPlotter RPI v0.8.0 NOOBS - Sailoog - 2016-07-06 Fixed, download again please. I have not been able to find out the source of the problem, I suspect it could be a NOOBS bug and I will report to develop team. I have fixed it forcing permissions for /media/pi folder at startup. It works right but is not an elegant way. I will try to get help from the raspberry team to figure out. Thanks for reporting! |
