hello all,
back on this feed to give you some informations about the implementation of HURD ELA actuator with Pypilot on my 12m /10 tons sailing boat.
The actuator contains a security electronic board to avoid overload. It seems this doesn't work with the pypilot command board. No big issue, this board i easily removable and afetr connecting directly pypilot to the motor everything was fine.
Weather conditions were very good this summer, not that much wind,so I didn't tested the installation in rough conditions, but everything works well as far as I tested.

To answer to Onno, I didn't proceed to any test or comparison with PC nautic material. The choice of the Hurd ELA actuator was made on the french sailing forum www.hisse-et-oh.com.
The PC Nautic was not retained by our small community mainly due to price, lack of documentation and corrosion issue reported by users.
