RE: Server Hardware for openplotter? - glowntiger - 2019-10-19 Hi, looks good. I think that this works well. I have all rechecked and mounted the first case. At the Moment I have no chance to get a moitessier. Because of that i have to wait….. I have ordered some cool sticker too and at the moment I write the operation and installation manual. Here some Impressions. ;-) https://drive.google.com/open?id=1vXzux7bHPiAUbdFF6Wrmb7yPuLFv4O4V https://drive.google.com/open?id=19u6J3jR_hxG5-ptLxmGKchst4mBzv0PC https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ajwV70RmfSo4Q4vu9u8_e0_7iC82D-ht https://drive.google.com/open?id=15dA-69koQtBsNlUHq4_Jzl1Q6JL9kE81 https://drive.google.com/open?id=1k_I0arblo1ZIfMTshdWtc9QVCcblDA_C By the way… the Case is IP67... And can I still connect my old Autohelm interface to get to SeaTalk1 tools? (see Attachment). Now let's hope that Sailoog updates and inserts your app as soon as possible. Come on Sailoog ... and good wind to all! RE: Server Hardware for openplotter? - glowntiger - 2019-10-20 The n2k connector has also 12v its recommend to your installation if you connect 12v or not. If there is another 12v power point in your n2k installation not use them if not you can power with it. I have also a 120ohm resistor with a jumper so you can use the bord as an end point. Nmea should work if it use normal nmea. Rs422/rs485 or rs232.. I know that a st60+ use not compatible level. But this should work. I make a schematic next days... ;-) RE: Server Hardware for openplotter? - Max1947 - 2019-10-29 (2019-10-20, 12:40 PM)glowntiger Wrote: The n2k connector has also 12v its recommend to your installation if you connect 12v or not. I just have to wait for Sailoog to insert your app into OpenPlotter. However, as soon as you have instructions, let me have them or better publish them. Good work and good wind! I wanted to replace the old one and if it came back to insert in the case, it would be ideal. Ciao and good work! RE: Server Hardware for openplotter? - glowntiger - 2019-10-29 Hi Max, at the moment I have less time to design the Seatalk1 board… First I finished the MCS board, then add digital I/O boards… and then the Seatalk 1... ;-) If you don´t can wait until Sailoog add the MCS-APP (and I think that's the way it is ;-) ) you can add the MCS manualy…. The best is, you do not take your active SDcard… Make an img or take a new, fresh version. (So if anything goes wrong you can take your old configuration) Then: clone the repo: Code: git clone https://github.com/Thomas-GeDaD/openplotter-MCS Code: cd openplotter-MCS Code: sudo python3 setup.py install then start the postinstall: PHP Code: MCSPostInstall restart your Pi!!! Then you must start the 1-wire server manualy (This do normal the openplotter-settings) At the moment you must do that after every restart of the Pi Code: echo 'ds2482 0x18' | sudo tee /sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-1/new_device after this you should start the MCS-APP Code: openplotter-MCS The App is not handled via openplotter-settings at this time!! only for testing. If you are ready, you can deinstall via: Code: MCSPreUninstall Code: sudo rm -r openplotter-MCS RE: Server Hardware for openplotter? - Max1947 - 2019-10-29 (2019-10-29, 08:40 PM)glowntiger Wrote: Ciao Max,Ciao, con il copia / incolla divento anch'io bravo. [img] [/img] RE: Server Hardware for openplotter? - glowntiger - 2019-10-30 Do it with sudo.... The mcp/can you have to configurate in the can app from sailoog interrupt gpio is 25. Then the can should display in the mcs app....
