If you have installed a deb package (/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/...) but you have also compiled the python package (/usr/local/lib/python3.7/dist-packages/...), compiled package will have priority.

change the version to your deb package and maybe they will take priority over the compiled, not tested.

You have to change version in changelog file and also here: https://github.com/Thomas-GeDaD/openplotter-MCS/blob/master/openplotterMCS/version.py it is important that changelog version and version.py file version match.

Hi Sailoog,

that was the right advice.... Big Grin Smile

I have delete all files witch install have done with:

Code:
sudo python3 setup.py install --record files.txt

sudo xargs rm -rf < files.txt

after this I have install the package again and all works fine...

How do you integrate the packages further?
How should I publish them?

You will need to create a package repository like Launchpad PPA or cloudsmith.io
I recommend you cloudsmith because it is easier for devs and users. I will use cloudsmith for openplotter-myapp after some changes in code that I will pull to your github.
More info in openplotter docs soon. In the meanwhile you can play with cloudsmith to familiarize.

Looks perfect.

On next version replace bionic by buster in changelog and sailoog by you in copyright files.

Ok, can you already install and use it?  Cool Big Grin

RE: Server Hardware for openplotter? - glowntiger - 2020-03-05

Hi Sailoog,
yes I change this.

@ Max,
you have to wait until I know how to publish the MCS App in OP. The Latest Version which are included in OP was not finished. Now it´s ready, but not updated through OP... ;-)

RE: Server Hardware for openplotter? - glowntiger - 2020-03-06

Hi Sailoog,
how is the integration planed?
Is it planned that external apps have to be installed manually? And registrated in config?
Or do you add a Storage out of that they can be installed?
Have I adjust my scrips so as in your "myapp"?

Ciao Thomas, I installed MCS on R3 +, where I do tests, but since there is no card of yours I can't try, but in theory it should already be working. I see that it is also possible to install "AnyDesk" through your card ... I wait for Sailoog to develop "MyApp".

Before long they will land my boat to make a hull etc. etc. and I hope we can finally try everything from life. I will also have to install the new ClipperWind sensor and then wait for your news for the new card. Let me know and good wind!  Smile Big Grin
