What are the different gain settings, colors etc? - Smartell - 2019-08-25

Maybe i have missed something when searching but ...what are the function of the different gain settings and color bars?

I understand well how a PID regulator works but what are these "gain settings"
I have been playing around with them this evening in my windshield-wiper-motor-based-setup but give up and ask now...

P   -  The standard proportional gain factor ?
FF  - ??? Feed forward ??? Fried Fred ?
D2 - Damping based on a second order derivative ? (PIDD2 ?)
PR -  ???
R   - ???
D   - Standard damping based on the first order derivative ?

Colors indicating when factors (gain x measurement) stays within a reasonable range or what ?

Appreciate your feedback (!)

/M

The colors are red and green to indicate the direction the gain is applied.  Blue indicates saturation.
