i am looking for a way to track a target on opencpn like a SAR drone, dingy or buddy boat.
i was thinking an esp32 or a small computer like a pi-zero and a gps. connected to the network sending gps data.
could i change the data in node red to be ais strings and use it like that, or is there a way to track other vessel with its mmsi.?
or something i haven't thought of yet any ideas?
