pypilot/openplotter/opencpn - fran674 - 2020-02-27

hello
OpenPlotter is working on RPI3b+
Pypilot enable in OpenCpn.
I search for a long time how to access to pypilot control ...[Image: huh.png].could be I am stupid but how to know you have to click on "AP" which is in black letters to get it in green letters.
On Raymarine screen you have "auto/stand by" button to enable or disable autopilot. This is more understand for new user I am. but may be I am not the alone guy with this problem
[Image: lightbulb.png] I suggest you change "AP" in black letters by "stand by" in black letters and "AP" in green letters by "Auto"in green letters. This could be in smaller letters
Sorry for the demand which could be stupid
regards

You are referring to the opencpn pypilot plugin control correct? The toggle button is the same in the pypilot control scripts that work outside of opencpn.

Would you prefer it work more like the web interface using a toggle button, or have two buttons, one for "auto", the other "standby" ?

If possible to have 2 buttons it could be easier for a new user to see immediatly how to do. It took me several days to discover the toggle button and I found it by luck.

I will try to make it with 2 buttons for a future release.
