Stellarium on cockpit display with view controlled by IMU - mgrouch - 2020-04-07 Stellarium on cockpit display with view controlled by IMU. I'm think it's not a bad idea to put a Stellarium into cockpit display as ARĀ (augmented reality app). If I manage to integrate it with IMU it would give night sky view relative to my pitch, roll and yaw. It's good as another way of check if your IMU magnetometer gives correct readings. If the star in Stellarium view matches real world then you could be sure you magnetormenter compass is correct What do you think? Thanks, --MG RE: Stellarium on cockpit display with view controlled by IMU - Sailoog - 2020-04-07 That sounds good for me. Maybe a new app for astronomical navigation could be the place for this tool and some others.
