Moitessier 1 fitting on raspi 4B - opampca - 2020-07-27 I want to upgrade Raspi 3B to Raspi 4B, with the first gen of Moitessier HAT. It does not fit phisically because they inverted the eth and usb ports. Is it possible to file the HAT pcb to fit, without damaging anything ? Thank you RE: Moitessier 1 fitting on raspi 4B - abarrow - 2020-07-27 One thing you can do is to put a stacking header on the GPIO. Something like this (you might want to cut the pins a little shorter) https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B089GGR6HB RE: Moitessier 1 fitting on raspi 4B - Sailoog - 2020-07-28 I filed the PCB and it worked but I absolutely recommend the header expander option. RE: Moitessier 1 fitting on raspi 4B - opampca - 2020-07-29 Thank you... I was scared to file, not knowing about the layers, and some vias are in the way, maybe only ground plane RE: Moitessier 1 fitting on raspi 4B - fishy - 2020-08-05 (2020-07-29, 05:58 PM)opampca Wrote: Thank you... However, warranty will be lost if cutting the board. |
