Thanks a mill. A fantastic link. Loads of interesting info. Jodel RE: Sunlight Readable Display - BartStevens - 2020-10-10 Kindle RE: Sunlight Readable Display - Sailabout - 2020-10-11 The 7” touchscreen from United Touch (https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Good-quality-marine-navigation-system-touchscreen_62059970636.html) mentioned in the reference given by mgrouch, seems interesting, especially with the 1500nit LED backlight enhancements (Customized). The end customer price for a single European buyer will be high however (56 € for the unit, 58 € for transport, 30 € for custom handling by DHL, and xx € taxes depending on the country. . .). Perhaps, after a survey (or better, a commitment by enough persons), the openmarine.net shop could handle a group purchase. I would certainly be interested. RE: Sunlight Readable Display - Techstyle - 2020-10-24 On a Youtube Openplotter review somebody suggested Faytech in the comments: https://www.faytech.com/catalogue/category/ip65-high-brightness-touch-monitors/ I dont have one but they have IP65, high brightness touchscreens in a variety of sizes RE: Sunlight Readable Display - Luckbert - 2020-10-24 Hello everybody, I have been using a 15" Faytech with HDMI for a long time. Admittedly it is not quite cheap. But it is very well readable and robust (aluminium housing). It has integrated speakers. Unfortunately I still have problems with the calibration. Greetings Jürgen |
