Backup from noob install - yebo - 2020-11-05 Hi all, I used to make backups of my Openplotter install on SDcard with Win32DiskImager. But I made my latest OP2 install using noob, and now 2 separate "cards" appear when I want to make a backup image: "Boot" & "RECOVERY". Could someone please give me some advice for a clean backup ? Thx in advance RE: Backup from noob install - rastam4n - 2020-11-05 I’ve been using this to make image backups of my working sd cards and ssd drives. Win32diskimage no longer works on updated win10 OS. https://hddguru.com/software/HDD-Raw-Copy-Tool/ RE: Backup from noob install - yebo - 2020-11-11 I finally used the simple solution: SD Card adapter plugged into the RPI, and Menu > Accessories > SD Card Copier. RE: Backup from noob install - rastam4n - 2020-11-11 Lol. Yes there’s that to but I thought you wanted an image file? Glad you figured it out. I leave a USB Sd card adapter plugged in just so I can make a backup when ever I am about to make changes so I have an easy way back to where I was. Then if it works I copy it again. |
