[SOLVED] GQRX crashes with FCD proplus - PaddyB - 2020-11-27
Hi, not really openplotter but thought I'd ask here anyway
RPI4 running GQRX but the system freezes when starting with a fcd pro plus, looks like it is receiving but no mouse control or keyboard so power off needed. Seems fine with an RTL dongle, jsut the FCD V2.0. Dongle works on a laptop OK.
Anyone else got one working?

Update if anyone is interested. It works!! So for google if you want to connect a FCD fun cube dongle pro plus to a raspberry pi 4, get a USB-A to USB-C cable then add this line to the bottom of /boot/config.txt - dtoverlay=dwc2,dr_mode=host
Then you get this!! In tech terms I'm dead chuffed
My setup has a hifiberry amplifier piggy backed onto the pi so the sound goes to the main hifi speakers.
Works good for weatherfax as well, fldigi will record each image coming in and save them into separate files.
