Air pressure with Moitessier HAT - Luckbert - 2021-01-15

Hello all,
I have a Moitessier HAT V. 1.0 in use.
I noticed that the air pressure is not displayed correctly.
According to the display, it is approx. 570 hPa.
This can not be at all. It should show about 1000 hPa, right?
Is the error with me or with the sensor?
Can I correct the error or can I change the value, i.e. perform something like a zero adjustment?
Greetings Jürgen

Do you have any other pressure source to compare?

Hello Sailoog,
I'm sure I have another BMP in my suitcase. I have not tested it yet.
Or do you mean a Frahling sensor in the vicinity?
Nevertheless, the value should be much higher.
Greetings Jürgen

compare with your local meteo provider and if you think something is not working be sure you are not converting units

Hi, same situation here. Odd outside pressure values are displayed in OpenCPN/SignalK - way too high ~2100 hPa.
This situation evolved after almost 2 years of perfect performance.

I checked the hat by issuing this command:
~/moitessier/app/sensors/MS5607-02BA03 /dev/i2c-1 1 1
Output: reading PROM failed.
Appears to be a CRC error, unrecognized by OpenCPN/SignalK
Thomas (rooco) assumes a hardware failure ...
