Board Design CM4 boat IO module - mgrouch - 2021-02-09 Now that rpi CM4 is out there are new possibilities. This board looks like a good start to redesign it and convert in to specialized boat IO board for CM4 https://www.gumstix.com/manufacturer/cm4...fmuv6.html something like a combo of MCS board, autopilot, and Moitessier Hat They wave design fees currently if you design a board using their toolkit which is quite interesting: https://geppetto.gumstix.com/ I do not have expertise in board designs but I hope someone will be able to build specialized boat board to support autopilot and chart plotter on Linux. If there is dedicated hardware board I could customize this Linux distro to support it: https://github.com/bareboat-necessities/lysmarine_gen Distro image for rpi4: https://cloudsmith.io/~bbn-projects/repo...=lysmarine Sorry for cross posting it. I've originally posted it in pypilot (it's relevant there too). I have expertise in Board design and I made a 10" Plotter based on the CM3+ Module. I am in contact with Thomas (the inventor of the mcs). We already talked about a plotter based on the CM4.
